Cold Feet: Now a Thing of the Past

These days, most of my requests to my four-year old fall quickly by the wayside. If I’m lucky, he begrudgingly does what I ask after the fourth or fifth request.

I’ve never really fancied my chances trying to get him to wear slippers around the house. He is impervious to the sting of cold floors in the middle of wintertime. But I try and fail, day in and day out.

We’ve tried with other slippers but he shrugs our request off with a quick ‘no.’ That’s that. But then he met his match – the Gus kids slipper from Baabuk.

Can’t keep them off of his feet. ‘Hey buddy, let’s put on your slippers.” “Ok,” he says. It’s been that simple. Is it the 100% natural wool? The rubber soles that keep from slipping and sliding on the floor? Maybe the fun logo? Nope – it’s all about the color (red).

That’s what he claims but I suspect it has something to do with the super cozy wool too.
